or the last several
Thanksgivings at
the Rojas house-
hold in Houston,
Texas, the gathering of
that family has been a
string of blessed holidays.
A special time that 23
year-old Robert Rojas
now looks forward to. But
that was not always so.
"For much of my life, I was a lost soul
in search for something--I didn't know
what," Robert now says.
He calls that part of his life "a dark
place." He says he felt isolated, even
from his family.
"We started going to one church, and
for a while things got better in my family,"
Robert explains, "but then, one by one,
we all kind of fell away, and soon the
situation in my family was back to what
it was before."
That's when Robert considered suicide
as his only option.
