He was raised in a devout, God�fearing home. Luke notes that "...His parents used to go to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of Passover" (Luke 2:41). Throughout His earthly ministry Jesus taught that His mission was not to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it (Matt. 5:17). Father, His relationship to the Word of God and to the world He came to save. In the Gospel of John alone, a surprising majority of the content is given to Jesus' ministry at the great feasts of Israel.
