Captain Jenny Bailey wanted to make this client feel better about herself and to show her the beauty she saw in her, she felt inspired to develop a "makeover" program for women in need, both to promote self esteem and as a a tool for evangelism. Captain Bailey held a drawing for a free makeover/glamour shot and arranged for three professional beauticians and a photographer to offer their services. The owner of a local vintage shop donated beautiful dresses for the women to wear and the Women's Ministries group helped to decorate the corps building. On the day of the event, Captain Bailey started with a Bible study to restore their souls. Then the ladies were off to the beauty parlor where they were treated to a makeover.
