Global warming,
healthy food, de-
forestation, energy
pollution, waste,
overpopulation,
depletion of re-
sources, nuclear issues and water were
the concerns of the articles. Emotionally
these issues can seem to be critical; fac-
tually it's hard to make the case that they
are significantly harming the planet. Hu-
manity's treatment of the planet has had
negligible harmful effects compared to
its sinful lifestyle. The violation of God's
commandments, alcohol, tobacco, and
drug abuse, and terrorism are a huge
burden on our economic, physical, emo-
tional, and spiritual well-being and the
subsequent well-being of the earth.

I am very familiar
with the War Cry,
but this year read-
ing it was much dif-
ferent. Each article
spoke to me in a way I needed to hear. In
fact, I read through the magazine three
times. I am a devout Christian and I've
always wanted truth in my life. This is
definitely the difference in these articles.
They are not just articles with facts and
information about a "special event."
There is POWER in the words. The au-
thors are definitely anointed to write
these stories and the Holy Spirit spoke to
me when I read them.

ment like never before. A friend who is a
mighty woman of God visits me regularly
and is giving me the War Cry as a Christ-
