WORDS TO LIVE BY
Once again You will have compassion
on us. You will trample our sins under
your feet and throw them into the depths
of the ocean!
Micah 7:19 (NLT)
Forgiveness can often be elusive. It's difficult
sometimes to forgive someone who has done
something that hurts us. Perhaps offering
forgiveness to that person is an act that is more
beneficial for us than for our offenders. When
forgiveness is offered, we allow ourselves to
begin the healing process... and maybe the
offender will be able to see the error of his way.
Take a moment to think about that person in
your life that needs your forgiveness. Why not
drop them a line or give them a call to offer
forgiveness.
If you're aware of something that you've done
to offend or hurt someone else, why don't you
make contact to begin the reconciliation process
and request forgiveness from them.
In the Bible, Jesus speaks of the importance
of forgiveness: "Do not judge, and you will not
be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be
condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven"
(Luke 6:37).

Napkins are things we use and discard every day. Life can so easily be discarded
as well. "A Sketch in Time" takes the idea of a discarded napkin and redeems it through the
art drawn upon it. Take comfort in knowing that God specializes in Redeeming the Discarded.
