WORDS TO LIVE BY
"If I speak in the tongues of men
or of angels, but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a
clanging cymbal."
1 Corinthians 13:1 (NIV)
In our lead story this month, we read about Annie
L o b e r t 's d e s c e n t i n t o a v e r y d a n g e r o u s a n d
unforgiving lifestyle. Most of us would recoil at any
personal comparisons between our lives and the
life of a prostitute. Yet, as we read Annie's story, the
circumstances of her life that caused her to make
each decision aren't so different from any situation
we might face.
We'd like to hear more from you about how
you interacted with Annie's story. Let's get the
conversation started with these questions:
At what points in your life have you felt abandoned
and alone?
Have you ever made a decision you've come to
regret? What did you do about it?
Have you ever faced a problem that you thought
was impossible to overcome?
Where do you turn for redemption
and reconciliation?
Connect with us online and let's
continue the conversation...

Napkins are things we use and discard everyday. "A Sketch in Time"
takes the idea of a discarded napkin that has been redeemed by the art
that has been drawn upon it. Life can so easily be discarded as well.
Take comfort in knowing that God specializes in Redeeming the Discarded.
