PRAYER
MIRACLES
of
PAUL & PETER
"
Dear God, please help
Christians who are being
mistreated because they
love you to stay deter-
mined. Help them make
up their minds not to
give up or turn away
from You, no matter
what happens. We know
that You are the only One who is
strong enough to help them do
that. And please help me and all
of us to be determined to follow
You, no matter what. Thank You.
In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
"
Instructions:
Heat oven to 400. Spray a little olive oil spray in a medium size
saut pan and heat on a medium flame. Add onion, garlic and
cilantro to the pan. Saut about 2 minutes and add ground turkey.
Season with salt and garlic powder, and cumin and brown meat
for several minutes until meat is completely cooked through.
Add 1/4 cup of tomato sauce and 1/2 cup of chicken broth, mix
well and simmer on low for about 5 minutes. Combine cooked
rice and meat together.
Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, and remove all seeds.
Place in a baking dish. Spoon the meat mixture into each pepper
half and fill it with as much as you can. Place all stuffed pepper
halves on the baking dish and pour the remainder of the chicken
broth on the bottom of the pan. Cover tightly with aluminum
foil and bake for about 35 minutes. Top with shredded cheddar
cheese and enjoy.
A sugary treat may give you a short
term energy boost, but what it does
to your brain isn't so sweet. UCLA
researchers have discovered that high fruc-
tose corn syrup reduces your IQ, keeps you from learning
and causes memory loss. And exactly how much high fruc-
tose corn syrup does the average American eat every year?
About 40 pounds. There is one piece of good news: Filling
your diet with omega3 fatty acids, plentiful in foods such as
salmon, can minimize sugar's negative effect on your brain.
