Reduce Solid Waste
Think about how much trash you make
in a year. Reducing the amount of solid
waste you produce means less space is
taken up in landfills, so your tax dollars
can work somewhere else. Additionally,
compost makes a great natural fertilizer.
Composting is easier than you think.
Recycle
You can help reduce
pollution just by putting that soda can in
a different bin. If you're trying to choose
between two products, pick the one with
the least packaging.
Skip the Bottled Water
Use a water filter to purify tap water instead of
buying bottled water. Not only is bottled water expensive, but it generates large amounts
of container waste. Bring a reusable water bottle (preferably aluminum rather than plastic)
with you when traveling or at work. Check out this short article for the latest on bottled
water trends.

Creator God, we thank
You for all of creation.
We ask Your forgive-
ness where we have
failed to be just stew-
ards. And we now ask
for Your guidance in
restoring the face of the
earth. May we learn to
live in harmony, shar-
ing resources among all
so that we might
achieve the kingdom of
God.
