Joy in the Lord
I cannot express my happi-
ness for what the Lord has
done for me. I gave my
brother a subscription to
the War Cry. Since then he
reads it faithfully and lets
me know about certain
people and articles in it.

A Suggestion
My wife and I read the War
Cry
articles as part of our
daily devotions and have
appreciated the many re-
ports, testimonies and let-
ters. As Col. George F.
Church stated in his July
21, 2012 letter regarding
the special Heritage edi-
tion, "It is unfortunate that
LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
there are no dates at-
tached to these articles."
We have tried to imagine
the difficulties faced by
those who managed all of
those glorious meetings
and reported such victo-
ries. An interesting sidebar
might indicate distances
and modes of transporta-
tion and communications
(were there phones, ra-
dios, cars, planes?). Keep
up the good work. God
bless.

Hallelujah!
One of the best decisions
I ever made was to sub-
scribe to the War Cry. I
carefully studied the July
7th issue and found the
conversation with Jonathan
vation Army corps in our
youth. We are in our six-
ties now. Thank you and
God bless you all.

A Change of Heart
When I came to prison I
was so discouraged that
I stopped writing music
and poetry. Then I read
your War Cry and the
section on letters from
prison. It changed my
heart and God spoke to
me. So, thank you. You
have all been a great
inspiration
to me.
